What is the General Assembly?
The General Assembly is the main part of the United Nations. All the important meetings are held in the General Assembly as this is when everyone has gathered together to help the world. Also decisions on important questions such as creating peace for the world is also discussed during this time, admission of new members that are joining the United Nations are also been celebrated during this time.
Each Country has one vote. Some members of the United Nations are granted more than 1 vote if they absolutely need it.
The Assembly has made up it;s own set of rules for different procedures and elect the new president of the United Nations for each sessions.
